Business Insights
Business Insights works in association with leading industry experts, to produce a range of reports across a wide range of industry sectors. Some of the companies associated with Business Insights include: Reuters Health, IMS Healthcare, TNS, ComputerWire IT Industry intelligence.

Business Source Premier
Provides comprehensive company profiles from Datamonitor, full text for more than 8,800 serials back to 1965 (or the first issue published for that journal) and searchable cited references back as far as 1998. Additional full text, non-journal content includes market research reports, industry reports, country reports, and SWOT analyses.

Investext Plus
Search Investext to find investment, company and industry reports. This database allows users to: monitor industry trends; track company financials, and research merger and acquisition opportunities. Look for up-to-date information on companies, industries and global markets from more than 500 investment banks and 190 trade associations; and more than 700,000 reports with 5,000 new reports added every week. Documents are organized in three categories: company reports, industry reports, and geographic and topical reports. Investext is the only database of trade association research on the Web.

LexisNexis Academic Universe
Provides full-text documents from over 5,900 news, business, legal, medical, and reference publications including national and regional newspapers, wire services, broadcast transcripts, international news, and non-English language sources; U.S. Federal and state case law, codes, regulations, legal news, law reviews, and international legal information; Shepard's® Citations for all U.S. Supreme Court cases back to 1789; Business news journals, company financial information, SEC filings and reports, and industry and market news.

MarketResearch.com Academic
Provides market intelligence on consumer demographics, market size and growth trends, industry forces and structure, product trends, competitive environment analysis, and company profiles.

PROMT
Predicast Overview of Markets and Technology. Use this database to research companies, the products and technologies they produce, and the markets in which they compete. PROMT includes summaries and full text from nearly 1,000 business and trade journals, industry newsletters, newspapers, market research studies, news releases, and investment and brokerage firm reports.

SAGE Journals Online
A collection of over 450 online, peer-reviewed journals and other scholarly content in many disciplines including Management & Organization Studies, Communication Studies, Psychology and Sociology. Full-text available from 1999-present.

STAT-USA
Federal business, trade and economic information made available through the U.S. Department of Commerce. One of several features includes access to a repository of economic indicators on topics such as employment, wholesale and retail prices, monetary and housing trends, gross domestic product, etc. Available only at the Galvin Library; please see a librarian for user name and password.

USA Trade Online
The Foreign Trade Division of the U.S. Census Bureau and STAT-USA compile accurate and timely U.S. Merchandise Trade data, providing export and import information on more than 18,000 commodities worldwide. Available only at the Galvin Library; please see a librarian for user name and password.

NewsBank - America's Newspapers
Provides full-text articles from the electronic editions of more than 750 U.S. newspapers. In addition to major papers like the New York Times and the Washington Post, users can also browse hometown papers like the Chicago Tribune and Sun-Times, or access many smaller regional newspapers that provide detailed coverage of local news stories taking place around the U.S.

Newspaper Source
Offers complete full-text for many major U.S. and international newspapers, including The Christian Science Monitor, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, and The Times (London). Selected full-text is available for over 200 U.S newspapers, as well as many television and radio news transcripts.

Regional Business News
Regional Business News covers 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires covering all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States. Full-text is available for many publications.

Wall Street Journal
Online full text of this important newspaper, covering business, politics, and current events. 1984-present available.
 

General Article Databases

Academic Search Premier
This database is the world's largest multidisciplinary full-text database of scholarly information, containing full text for nearly 4,650 serials, including more than 3,600 peer-reviewed publications. It also provides article abstracts for many other journals in a wide variety of disciplines. Information on all academic subjects is available.

ArticleFirst
ArticleFirst is a multidisciplinary journal article index covering more that 16,000 academic publications. Subjects covered include business, science, technology, humanities, medicine, and social sciences.

JSTOR
This full-text database includes an archive of important scholarly journals in a variety of subject areas. Users should note that JSTOR is not a current issues database -- there is a gap, typically from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the back issues available in JSTOR. Choose the Advanced Search function to limit your search to a specific subject area.

ProQuest Direct
