Services for undergraduate and graduate students of IIT, Shimer, VanderCook, and I-Share colleges and universities.
The Paul V. Galvin Library of Illinois Institute of Technology is a participating member of the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI). CARLI is an organization of dozens of academic libraries in Illinois that share an online union catalog, I-Share. CARLI membership includes the libraries of each state-supported university, private colleges and universities, community colleges, the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, and the Illinois State Library.
Students, faculty, and staff from I-Share institutions are able to visit the Galvin Library, borrow circulating print materials, and use the library's public computers.
After 6:00 pm I-Share patrons are required to present a valid ID from their home institution.
