The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations leads international efforts to defeat hunger. Serving both developed and developing countries, FAO acts as a neutral forum where all nations meet as equals to negotiate agreements and debate policy issues. As a source of knowledge and information, FAO deposits its publication at select libraries throughout the world. The IFSH Library is 1 of 10 libraries located in the United States that receives FAO Publications. The FAO collection at the IFSH Library dates back to 1965.
