Matt joined IIT's College of Architecture
staff in October, 2003 as the Head Librarian in the Graham Resource
Center. Matt has over
thirteen years library experience at august institutions such as the Library of Congress, United
States Senate Historical Office, Chicago Historical Society, and the
Art Institute of Chicago and possesses graduate degrees in Library
Sciences and American History. In addition, he is an avid country
music fan and songwriter and invites any and all to visit
Cooksie,
a band that he runs with his brother, Radar Online writer John Cook.

Rich Harkin

Mr.
Harkin works as the multimedia maven, an expert or connoisseur, (often self-proclaimed) at
IIT’s Crown Hall. His interests are long walks in the park, French
films of the 1930’s, Thai food and facials. He has a background
in art and filmmaking and is a long time resident of Chicago.
Richard “Dick” Harkin exemplifies the will to achieve.
“Mies owes me money” is a phrase one can often hear Dick
muttering under his breath at staff meetings. “This is dwarf
invasion” is another phase of which Mr. Harkin is overly fond.
.Staff and student nicknames he is known by- “Dickster, Oh
No Not You, Chum, Hush Be Quiet He’s Here, and Stud.

Stuart joined the
staff of the GRC in October, 2002 after a 20 year career in commercial
printing. Before that he at various times was a fry cook, bartender, ditch
digger, restaurant owner, and book seller. Stuart enjoys exploring the new field
of Entrophonics and reading.
