We are please to announce the extremely generous gifts of these benefactors of the College of Architecture and the Graham Resource Center:

Robin Goldsmith and the Goldsmith family in late 2004 donated major portions of the Myron Goldsmith Library to the GRC.  Cataloging and processing have already begun and we anticipate making this extremely important collection available to students and faculty by August, 2005.

We are currently working with noted architect, educator, and former Dean of the College of Architecture, George Danforth as he is donating a number of volumes to the GRC.  Included in this extremely rich collection is a notebook of quips, quotes, and reminisces George kept as a student and colleague during time spent with Mies van der Rohe.  We hope to have this complete notebook on-line early in the Fall Semester, 2005.

We are happy to acknowledge the receipt of 500 volumes and two Mies chairs from Mrs Jane Moore Black, whose husband was a graduate of the Architecture program in the 1930s.
