IIT Campus Newspaper Project 1928-1980

The IIT Campus Newspaper digitized collection is a project funded by the Illinois State Library, Educate and Automate grant. The current campus newspaper "IIT Technology News"  and its predecessors "Armour News" and "Armour Tech News" has been in publication since 1928. This web site provides an index to over 58,000 articles in issues between 1928 and 1981, plus images of 4,400 select articles.

Voices of the Holocaust
The Voices of the Holocaust site houses seventy first-hand interviews conducted in 1946 by Dr. David Boder of victims of the Nazi holocaust. 
Contrails
Contrails provides a primary resource for researchers in mechanical, aerospace, and materials research in the form of technical research reports in full-text.  There is also a considerable amount of historical information from the space race in the 1950's and early 1960's.
 
World's Columbian Exposition of 1893

The World's Columbian Exposition of 1893 website showcases over 12,000 images and 1500 pages of text related to the Chicago World's Fair. This site was made possible by an Illinois State Library grant to digitize Illinois collections and highlights the achievements of mankind in all areas of human endeavor at the close of the nineteenth century.
