Borrowing & Circulation

The Circulation Desk is located next to the main entrance on the Lower Level of the library. All library materials, including Course Reserves, items borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, and loaner laptops and iPads circulate from this desk. It is the borrower's responsibility to be aware of due dates. The late return of library materials prevents other users from having access to the materials. A system-generated email notice is sent to a patron when an item has reached the status of overdue.

Fines may be paid online. Before any fines are paid, stop by the Circulation Desk or send an email so that the correct amount can be verified. No cash payments will be accepted.

Fines

Circulating Items: $.10 per day
Special Materials: $2.00 per day
Reserve Items: $5.00 per hour
Laptops: $10.00 per hour

Other Institutions

Fines and fees that are charged to you by other institutions must be paid directly to the respective institution. Circulation staff will assist you in identifying the lending institution and items in question.

Appealing Fines

If you feel that you have been billed in error, contact a staff member at the Circulation Desk.
