Alva C. Todd Collection at Biegler Library

Alva C. Todd was a professor of Electrical Engineering at IIT, who founded Midwest College of Engineering in 1967. He served as the college's first President from 1967 until 1981. Midwest College of Engineering offered undergraduate and graduate degrees in Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. In 1986, the college merged with IIT to form IIT West. In 1991, IIT West moved into the new Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Campus in Wheaton. Dr. Todd's family donated his books to the Biegler Library. The following is a listing of the titles included in Dr. Todd's personal collection. The Todd collection is available in the Library, but does not circulate.
