Welcome to the Biegler Library's website.
This web site was
developed through the efforts of the Librarians and Network Services
staff at Galvin Library. The use of a drop-down menu on every
page allows easy navigation to the entire site.
The Library's new web site was designed to meet the needs of all of
IIT's users, and the Biegler Library web site has been adapted to
meet the particular needs of students, faculty and staff at Rice
Campus, as well as distance education students in the Western
suburbs. We invite you to browse the site and, as always, appreciate
your
comments.
New at Biegler Library
Wireless networking is available at Biegler Library. In addition
to electronic database access, Biegler Library provides materials
specifically for classes
taught at Rice Campus is such areas as Forensic Security, Database
Design, VOIP, and Manufacturing Technology.
New study carrels that feature wider desk space for laptops and
books, along with new chairs, provide a comfortable, quiet and
convenient space to study before or after class.
Student Innovations at Rice Campus
Education strives to provide an environment in which students
can learn. At the Center for Professional Development located at
IIT's Rice Campus, students take learning to a higher level by
applying their knowledge to solve real-life problems.
As part of their class projects, students were asked to apply what
they learned in class to solve a real-life problem.
