Articles
To search for peer-reviewed journal articles, conference papers, book reviews, and other online scholarly information, you'll need to search a database. Different databases contain information about different subjects. Choose a database based on the subject of your research topic.
1. Find a Specific Article
Use this option when you already have a citation (information about the article such as the title, author, journal title, date of publication, etc.) and want to find a copy of the article.

One of the largest full-text databases of scholarly information. A good place to start searching for journal articles on almost any topic. (more info)

Comprehensive über-database covering all aspects of technology, engineering, materials science, and electronics. (more info)

Comprehensive database covering all aspects of science, engineering, and technology. (more info)
JSTOR 
Archive of essential scholarly journals related to the humanities, physical sciences, and social sciences. (more info)
